Hot die forging

Controlled process and production stability

We manufacture hot forged parts based on drawings or samples, with rigorous control of the production process and adapting to the technical requirements of each project and industrial sector.

Weight range

Forged parts ranging from small components to larger pieces, with a standard capacity of up to 20 kg, reaching up to 35 kg depending on the geometry.

Materials

Carbon and alloy steels, stainless steels, special steels, and other materials defined according to the technical specifications of each project.

Part types

Forged parts with open or closed geometries, from simple shapes to more complex configurations, designed for proper material deformation and subsequent dimensional stability.

Technical capacity and production versatility

We have our own forging infrastructure that allows us to manufacture parts with different geometries, weights, and volumes, maintaining process stability and dimensional repeatability.

Our production capacity is based on a combination of industrial experience, technical resources, and process control.

FORGING PROCESS

Optimized workflow

We transform raw material through a forging process defined and controlled at every stage, ensuring dimensional consistency and production stability.

Cutting

Preparation and sectioning of the material according to defined dimensions and weight to ensure proper feeding of the forging process.

Heating

Induction heating with thermal control via pyrometers, ensuring a homogeneous material temperature before deformation.

Die forging

Shaping of the part by hot die forging using presses and/or hammers, following the defined process to obtain the required geometry.

Trimming

Removal of excess material generated during die forging to define the contour of the forged part.

Shot blasting, treatments, and finishes

Systematic shot blasting of all parts as a standard process operation, complemented by heat treatments and/or surface finishes when the project requires it.

Forging production resources

The forging process is supported by our own production resources, which allow us to select the most appropriate technology based on the geometry, weight, and volume of each part, while maintaining process control and stability.

Our plant features hydraulic hammers and presses of various capacities, integrated with induction furnaces for thermal process control:

6,300 kgm hydraulic hammer, with a 650 kW induction furnace

3,150 kgm hydraulic hammer, with a 450 kW induction furnace

560-ton press, with a 400 kW induction furnace

250-ton press, with a 150 kW induction furnace

This configuration allows us to adapt the forging process to different types of parts and series, selecting the most suitable equipment in each case.
