Machining

Dimensional precision integrated into the production process

Our machining workshop is a key part of the industrial process and one of our main competitive advantages. Having in-house machining allows us to ensure the dimensional consistency of the forged part, reduce delivery times, and offer more reliable and stable solutions throughout production.

We perform the necessary machining operations internally when the part requires it, guaranteeing total process control and proper integration with the forging phase.

Integration into the production process

Machining is performed as an additional phase of the industrial process, working on internally forged parts and maintaining dimensional consistency from the outset.

Operational flexibility

Capability to define and adapt fixtures, references, and machining sequences based on the geometry, tolerances, and functional requirements of each part.

Dimensional control and quality

Monitoring of critical dimensions during machining, aligned with our quality management system and the customer’s technical requirements.

Technical capabilities and production versatility

We have our own machining area integrated into the production process, equipped to handle different operations and geometries, adapting to the technical requirements of each part and project.

The integration of machining reduces deviations, lead times, and external dependencies, providing stability and control to the entire process.

MACHINING PROCESS

Optimized workflow

Machining is integrated as an additional phase of the production process, following a controlled workflow aligned with the technical specifications of each part, from forging to final operations.

1

Part preparation

Receipt of the forged part and definition of fixtures, references, and support surfaces to ensure proper machining execution and dimensional stability during the process.

2

Machining operations

Execution of the necessary operations using machining centers and CNC lathes, adapting the process to the geometries, tolerances, and functional requirements defined in the drawing.

3

Dimensional verification

Control of critical dimensions during the machining process to ensure compliance with technical requirements and dimensional repeatability of the parts.

4

Complementary operations

Application of additional operations when the part requires it, such as final adjustments, localized forming or coining, and specific preparations for mounting or assembly.

5

Post-machining treatments and operations

Management of post-machining treatments according to the customer’s technical specification, such as heat treatments, painting, surface coatings, or welding, ensuring the dimensional and functional consistency of the final assembly.

Optimized workflow

We have our own machinery fleet that allows us to handle different geometries, tolerances, and volumes, maintaining dimensional repeatability and process stability.

CNC centers and equipment

  • 6 CNC machining centers, 2 of them with a dual pallet system, designed to optimize productivity and process continuity.

  • 6 CNC lathes, 3 of them equipped with motorized turret and bar feeder, suitable for parts with different geometric configurations.

  • 1 IBARMIA CNC vertical drilling center, with drilling capacity up to Ø 100 mm.

Auxiliary operations

  • 8 Multiple drilling machines, for specific and complementary operations.

  • 2 Hanks cutting saws, with capacity of 250 mm and 410 mm, for material preparation.

  • 1 Automated welding equipment, for auxiliary operations when the part requires it.

Forming and coining operations

When the functionality or geometry of the part requires it, we integrate forming and coining operations as part of the production process, ensuring the final definition of critical areas without resorting to external processes.

We have hydraulic presses specifically for this type of operation.

SERVICE BENEFITS

Why trust our in-house machining

Forging–machining integration:Machining is performed as part of an integrated production process, working on internally forged parts and guaranteeing dimensional consistency from the outset.

Dimensional control and repeatability: We maintain control of references, tolerances, and functional dimensions throughout the machining process, ensuring stability and repeatability part by part.

Technical and production flexibility: Capability to adapt machining operations to different geometries, tolerances, and volumes, both in short runs and recurring production.

Complete industrial management of the part: We coordinate machining with subsequent operations such as heat treatments, painting, coatings, or welding, delivering parts ready for integration.
