Engineering and design

Engineering applied to industrial manufacturing

Engineering is the starting point of our projects. We provide technical support from the initial stages, collaborating with the client on the definition, adaptation, or full development of the part and the production process.

Our approach combines metallurgical knowledge, industrial experience, and advanced simulation tools to transform a functional need into a viable, optimized, and manufacturable industrial solution.

3D modeling and geometric definition

3D design and modeling of parts in STP format, based on blueprints, physical samples, or client functional requirements.
The 3D model becomes the technical basis for simulation, die and tooling design, and process definition.

Part development and re-engineering

We participate in projects developed from scratch, as well as in re-engineering processes, such as the transformation of parts originally manufactured by casting into more efficient, robust, and competitive forged solutions.

This approach improves mechanical performance, optimizes geometries, and adapts the part to more stable production processes.

Advanced forging process simulation (QForm)

We use QForm simulation software to define and validate the forging process before manufacturing the tooling and launching production.

Simulation allows us to:

  • analyze material flow during hot deformation
  • define forming sequences, blows, and process conditions
  • identify potential defects early (laps, low deformation zones, underfilling)

Thanks to this prior validation:

  • the need for physical press trials is drastically reduced
  • die development lead times are shortened
  • technical risks and waste are minimized from the start of the project

Prototyping and prior validation

Prototype manufacturing using 3D printing to provide a physical reference part before production begins.

Prototyping allows for:

  • validating geometries and fits
  • verifying functionality and assembly
  • facilitating technical decision-making alongside the client

Technical capabilities and versatility

Our engineering department works in an integrated manner with production, allowing us to design solutions aligned with the reality of the production process and anticipate key decisions before industrialization.

ENGINEERING PROCESS

Structured workflow

We transform raw material through a point-by-point controlled process, ensuring innovative and high-quality solutions for every client:

1

Requirements analysis

Study of blueprints, samples, usage conditions, and functional requirements of the part.

2

Geometric definition and 3D modeling

Creation or adaptation of the 3D model (STP) as the technical basis of the project.

3

Production process definition

Selection of the most suitable forging process based on geometry, material, and volumes.

4

Process simulation (QForm)

Validation of material behavior and process optimization before manufacturing the tooling.

5

Prototyping and adjustments

Obtaining reference parts for physical validation and technical adjustments.

6

Preparation for industrialization

Technical basis for the design and manufacture of dies and for the definition of the final production process.

SERVICE BENEFITS

Why trust our engineering

Manufacturing-oriented engineering: Technical decisions are made with real knowledge of the production process.

Reduction of industrial risks: Simulation and prototyping allow for adjustments to be anticipated before investing in tooling.

Development and re-engineering capability: We support both new projects and the optimization of existing parts.

Continuous technical support: Technical collaboration from the conceptual phase through to industrialization.
